Who we are

DocketPos is software operated by [CD Developers LLC — confirm registered entity name, address and jurisdiction]. Restaurants using DocketPos are separate businesses; this policy covers what DocketPos collects, not what a restaurant does with your order once it has it.

What we collect

(a) Order data you type: name, phone, email, delivery address, order contents, and special instructions.

(b) Payment: card details go directly to Stripe; DocketPos never receives or stores a full card number.

(d) Analytics: aggregate page views with no cookies and no cross-site identifier (see “Cookies and local storage” below).

Why we collect it

To fulfil and deliver the order; send order-status texts; prevent fraud and abuse; and keep the service running (error monitoring).

Who we share it with

The restaurant you ordered from; Stripe (payments); Twilio (order texts); Google Maps (delivery address validation and distance); Pusher (live order status); Sentry (error diagnostics); and Plausible (aggregate analytics, when enabled). Each is named here because every one is a real, in-code dependency.

How long we keep it

[retention period — confirm]. Order records are kept as long as the restaurant’s account is active.

Your choices

Ask the restaurant or [contact address — confirm] to access or delete your details. You can opt out of order texts at any time by replying STOP.

Cookies and local storage

No advertising or tracking cookies are set on the ordering pages. A staff sign-in cookie exists but is only set after a staff member signs in. The ordering pages use browser local storage to remember your order-tracking link on this device; clearing your browser’s storage removes it.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We will change the effective date at the top of this page when we update it.
